Driver Magician 3.5

Driver Magician offers a professional solution for device drivers backup, restoration, update and removal in Windows operating system. It identifies all the hardware in the system, extracts their associated drivers from the hard disk and backs them up to a location of your choice. Then when you format and reinstall/upgrade your operating system, you can restore all the "saved" drivers just as if you had the original driver diskettes in your hands. After one system reboot, your PC will be loaded and running with the required hardware drivers.

Don't require registration to restore drivers

That kind of stuff makes this software tedious to use, and will cause alternatives to be sought.Registration to create the backup is fine, but adding steps to restoration is a definate no-no.

'Searching %MSFT%.sys...': Make environment variables processed.

Backing up drivers of 'WsAudio_DeviceS(2)', please wait patiently ... Searching %MSFT%.sys... This must be irritating because there are no such file and it tries to find on all windows system.

inform customers that if their equipment is working well, DONT FIX IT, or read what the updated driver will actually do for your hardware and decide if it will actually be an improvement. for Instance, on a video card (display adapter) driver, if it

Add more options to the backup file-dialog, which currently doesn't allow entering/pasting or creating the backup directory, so that one is required to click and click on directories.

check the programs ability to verify and recognize actual software loaded on a system by it's proper registration. It told me I had 51 updates to do and 19 of them claimed to be shareware or freeware software that I indeed have full licensed versio
